SALENTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL September 2 -11, 2011 8 th The Salento International Film Festival (SIFF) renews  for the 8th year its celebration and promotion of new  talents  and their works, giving special attention to the  works of young artists. 1° APULIAN FILM FESTIVAL - New York Showcase of movies “Made in Puglia” or  directed  by Apulian Filmmakers The first edition of the festival will take place in New York from14 to 16 Novembre 2011. For the first time, the Italian region of Apulia will be the protagonist with  its cinema, thanks to the Apulian Film Festival, that will showcase a  selection of Apulian productions to show its relevance within the cinema  panorama.  All movies screened will be either mainly filmed in Apulia, or  presenting stories based in Apulia, or directed by Apulian film directors.
